Synopsys is a suite of circuit design, entry, and logic synthesis tools.
Synopsys is available on all HP Unix workstations and on Sun workstations running Solaris 2.5.1 or later except hpux30, hpux45, and ws68 (running hpux11). To check the operating system version, type the command:
Previous versions of Synopsys would not run on xterminals. This version has not yet been tested on xterminals.
We have seen some errors in the past running Cossap under a shell other than csh/tcsh or ksh.
NOTE: We would appreciate it if anyone can determine whether these issues are still present in the current version.

Output is limited to postscript printers. You can either print to a postscript file or directly to one of the postscript printers. The default printer is laser. If you want to change this to something else, then you will need to make the appropriate modification to the print command. See "helpme printing-unix" for more instructions on how to do this.
