Lynx is a text-based World Wide Web (WWW) browser. It does not use or require graphics to operate. This program is suitable for WWW browsing over a modem or telnet connection.
Lynx 2.8.3 help index:
- Lynx is available on all Unix workstations.
- Linux workstations have an older version of Netscape installed with the operating system. Specify the full path
/usr/local/bin/lynx to access the current version.
- Lynx does not work in hpterm windows. If you normally use hpterms, you should start an xterm window if you want to use Lynx from within the Design Center.
Running Lynx 2.8.3
lynx [ <URL or filename> ]
Press "p" to bring up the print menu.
