Fluent CFD (Comfutational Flow Dynamics) is a set of tools for modelling fluid flow. It includes three major tools: - Fluent5, an unstructured solver, - Fluent4.5, a structured mesh solver, and - Gambit and TGrid, tools for geometry modelling and meshing

Fluent CFD Software uses standard setup scripts. You must type

setup fluent

to use this application. If you want to run this version of the software even if other versions are available, use Fluent.Inc instead of fluent in your setup statement.

See "helpme setup" for information on finding out what versions are available or what to do if the setup statement does not work.

Running Fluent CFD Software

To run Fluent5, type "fluent" after setup. For Fluent4.5, type "fluent4" after setup. To run Gambit, use "gambit" after setup, and Tgrid, type "tgrid after the setup step.


Select File->Hardcopy from the menu. This will print to a file, which must then be printed with an appropriate veiwer program.
